Amelia Chia is a seasoned editor and writer with 15 years of journalism experience under her belt. She started her career as a digital writer for August Man, before heading up the beauty section at Harper’s Bazaar Singapore and later holding the deputy editor position at Buro. Singapore. Her most recent role was deputy editor at Vogue Singapore, where she spent four years as part of the founding team when the esteemed fashion title launched in Singapore in 2020. She was responsible for managing the team and overseeing all stories print and digital.
Amelia is a well-versed writer when it comes to personality profiles, travel, fashion and luxury lifestyle. Some of her most memorable work to date include interviewing Cate Blanchett, Awkwafina, Gemma Chan, Cardi B and Olivia Rodrigo. She is also passionate about telling inspirational stories, as seen in her heartfelt profile on Chan See Ting, a young Singaporean in the final stages of her battle with cancer.
