Kendrick began his career as a Founding Member and Investor at elev8.vc, an early-stage deep-tech venture capital firm with a global mandate. His entrepreneurship journey at elev8.vc ignited a strong desire to gain firsthand experience in the path of growing a startup from early-stage to growth-stage in Southeast Asia.
In 2021, he joined Stemly, a B2B SaaS platform for Supply Chain and Finance with Fortune 500 and Global 2000 clients, as the Head of Strategy where he oversees multiple functions – Strategic Initiatives, Financial / P&L Management, Fundraising and Corporate Operations. His notable wins include, (1) a Product Development Grant awarded by FSTI 2.0 Scheme by MAS, (2) ISO 27001 / SOC 2 Type 1 & 2 certified, (3) commercial wins for Open Innovation challenges, and many more. He also serves as the Chief of Staff, playing a key role in shaping the company’s business direction.
With his demonstrated capabilities and commitment to support the entrepreneurial community, Kendrick founded Boro, a fractional Chief-of-Staff provider in 2023 to guide founders in their journey from 0 to 1, ensuring resources are focused on essential business aspects. This support is especially valuable during funding winters but remains important throughout the entire early-stage startup journey.
