Founder & CEO, Uncommon
Yolanda Lee founded Uncommon in April 2021 as a private leadership network for the next generation of female leaders in Singapore. Having lived in 10 countries, she saw there was more that connects than divides and wanted to see what change she could help make for women beyond her role in the corporate world. Yolanda’s passion for technology and personal experience as a woman in senior leadership led her to spend the past two years building a comprehensive product that will empower and uplift women leaders through a blend of coaching, peer support and community programming. Uncommon will also build their own technology that will utilise machine learning to hyper-personalise the leadership development experience for each member.
In addition to leading Uncommon, Yolanda also served as the Gender Advisory Board Member at Accelerating Asia, a regional network of startup programs headquartered in Singapore. Uncommon is currently in the midst of finalising their seed round of funding, which will be announced in due course.
