Did you know that 72% of entrepreneurs are directly or indirectly affected by mental health issues compared to just 48% of non-entrepreneurs? For Mental Health Awareness Month, we are asking three well-being experts and entrepreneurs – Louisa Lee, CEO, DP Healthverse Holdings; Prionka Ray, Pyschotherapist & Well-Being Consultant; and Tani De Gregorio, Holistic Health Coach & Certified Hypnotherapist – to share their valuable insights and practical strategies for achieving success while also prioritising your mental health.
Organised in partnership with Seasoned Singapore Expat Women (SSEW), we’ll explore the importance of defining one’s own definition of success. You’ll learn hacks on overcoming challenges and daily routines to get ahead of the day. We’ll also discuss grit, resilience, the importance of knowing when to push and when to let go, and how to navigate through obstacles while staying grounded and keeping it cool. This session is going to be jam-packed with helpful tools and techniques to help you find your path to success – both professionally and personally.
But what’s an Ask Party you say? At Launchpad’s signature Ask Party, we welcome members to network while wearing their ask, literally on their sleeve, thus inviting insights, advice and maybe even solutions! Through being more vulnerable, stepping out of your comfort zone, and having genuine and real conversations about things you need – making this not just another networking event, but a night where you receive real help from peers, mentors and other entrepreneurs who have walked in your shoes.
Don’t miss this evening of connection, inspiration and learning – drinks and nibbles included!
About the host and speakers
Anju Cawthra
Director, Seasoned Singapore Expat Women (SSEW)
Anju is the Director of Seasoned Singapore Expat Women (SSEW), an online social community and business network. The group is affectionately known as the #Wisetribe and has been called “Better than Google”!
SSEW is a place where women can seek tried and tested recommendations, quality intel, and unbiased support. They can come together under the umbrella of sisterhood, in a safe, non-judgmental space, to connect and bond with like-minded women in their shared home-away-from-home. As well as online forums, groups and pages, SSEW hosts many in-person events throughout the year, helping members to strengthen their connections and make the most of the Little Red Dot we call home.
Anju is from the UK and is definitely Seasoned having lived in Singapore for 15 years. She was a Graphic Designer in her ‘past life’ in London; working on branding, print and packaging briefs for boutique design agencies servicing clients in the hospitality industry.
She has creative vision and is a dynamic problem solver – she loves finding synergies and ‘connecting the dots’ in all kinds of situations. Anju is a girl-about-town and enjoys bringing people together to share new experiences. A self-confessed ‘culture vulture,’ she appreciates the richness that Singapore and Asia has to offer.
Through her shifting career path, she has identified the personal importance of carrying out service to others and loves working with the expat community to enhance member’s day-today lives, maintain a supportive forum, and foster long-lasting connections within SSEW and beyond.
